My Story
My wife Lori and I have three amazing kids. All of whom have gone through or are going through the Appo school district for over the past twenty years. As the only candidate who has been a vested parent in the Appo school district, I have grown a unique understanding and have witnessed the intricate blend of challenges and strengths that make up our school district. This, along with my background as a business owner for over thirty years and my experience on prior non-compensated boards, has led me to believe that I’d be an excellent addition to our school board and humbled to represent the community my family has been a part of for over twenty years. I would be honored to do so and to earn your vote.
My Family
Lori and I live in Middletown with our youngest daughter and our dog, Penny. Our son lives in Philly and is a registered nurse at C.H.O.P., where he works in the cardio intensive care unit. Our oldest daughter lives in Newark and works at Nemours Children’s Health as a research coordinator. Even though we are spreading out, we still make time to enjoy a Phillies game every so often.
My Platform
I am running to work with others to bring a better learning environment into our classrooms and direct more of school resources to the classroom, and to give our teachers the tools and support they need to do what they love, and that’s to simply teach our children. I have witnessed, our teachers are the heart of our school community and I believe can be the key to bringing positive change to our schools. Which is why I am honored to have received the endorsement of the Teachers Union. As a business owner, I am of the mindset to do all things within a sound budget and by being fiscally responsible as stewards of the district’s resources.
